§ 80. Mr. Bingasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that the Southend Road, Hornchurch, which was closed by his Department during the war, still remains closed; and whether, in view of the fact that this road crosses the portion of the Hornchurch aerodrome, which is no longer in use, he will arrange for the public to have access to the road.
§ Mr. A. HendersonMy Department has no objection to this road being re-opened. A great deal of work is, however, necessary to make it fit for public use and it is for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport to say when the work will be carried out.
