§ Mr. ShinwellOn 31st March, the latest date for which information is available in the War Office, 235 officers and 261 other ranks were on the waiting list for married quarters in the Far East. Three hundred and seventy-seven families of officers and 267 of other ranks embarked for this Command during the 12 months ended 31st May. As regards the last part of the Question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave him on 24th February.
