§ 48. Mr. Randallasked the Minister of Agriculture why periods of three to four weeks waiting are being experienced in 10W obtaining results of tests of butterfat, in view of the fact that such delays reduce the value of the tests.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsI am informed by the Milk Marketing Board that a delay of as much as three to four weeks in notifying the results of butterfat tests is exceptional. The Board fully appreciate the inconvenience to the producer. Such delay as occurs is due to lack of sufficient staff to handle the increasing number of samples submitted.
