§ Mr. BelcherOne hundred and seventeen new factory buildings and extensions (5,000 sq. ft. and over) were completed in the development areas between the 1st January and 31st May, 1948. Five hundred and thirty-seven were under construction at 31st May, the latest date for which figures are available.
