40. Mr. C. Thomasasked the Minister of Education what steps he is taking to ensure co-operation between the University of Wales and the Welsh local education authorities in order that the recommendations of the Percy Report on Technical Education might be put into operation.
§ Mr. TomlinsonThe University of Wales and the Welsh local education authorities co-operate through the Welsh Academic Board of Technology which was set up in 1946 as a result of Circular 87. I understand that this Board has already made some useful recommendations for improving the provision of advanced technology in Wales.
