109. Mr. De la Bèreasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware of the danger caused to farm livestock by low-flying aircraft; and whether he will instruct those concerned to cease this practice and to limit their low flying to non-agricultural areas or over the sea.
§ Mr. A. HendersonLow flying in the R.A.F. is expressly forbidden except over areas set aside for the purpose. These areas are chosen with great care, and the point which the hon. Member makes is one of the considerations which are taken into account, but I am afraid it is not always possible to avoid farmland.
