§ 97. Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that letters from Austria often take from two to three months to be delivered in this country; and what is the cause of this delay.
154W
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingI was not aware of such delay. There is a daily despatch from Vienna to London and letters for any address in the United Kingdom should normally be delivered within a week from the date of despatch. If my hon. Friend will let me have full particulars of letters which have suffered delay. I shall be happy to investigate.
