§ 114. Mr. Spenceasked the Minister of Agriculture when he expects to make his promised announcement regarding an increased allocation of animal feedingstuffs; and whether he will consider revising the 1939 basis of allocation.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsAny further announcement about increased supplies or revised methods of allocation of rationed feeding-stuffs must await the completion of an assessment of our future probable resources and an examination, which is now being carried out, of the best way of utilising them. I regret that I am unable to give a date.
§ Mr. Hollisasked the Minister of Agriculture whether further concessions of feedingstuff coupons will be made in favour of farmers who have only taken up farming since the war and consequently have no pre-war quota.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Huntingdon (Mr. Renton) on 26th January last.
