§ 39. Mr. Nuttingasked the Minister of Food whether, in the interests of the convenience of businessmen, buyers, commercial travellers and similar sections of the community, he will now revert to the old rule whereby ration books had not to be given up in hotels for visits lasting under five nights.
§ Mr. StracheyI regret that this should inconvenience business people, but it would be unfair at the present time to allow people staying at hotels to continue to draw their full domestic rations as well.
