§ 94. Mr. Dumpletonasked the Minister of Health whether in view of the need for expansion in accordance with the Greater London Plan, he will issue licences for the building of their workers' houses by the Watford and St. Albans Gas Company in St. Albans.
§ Mr. BevanI regret that the restrictions which it has been necessary to impose on the building of houses by private builders, cannot be relaxed in favour of this Company, the needs of whose workers will, I am assured, be sympathetically considered by the local authority.
