§ Mr. Byersasked the Minister of Supply whether he is aware that there is a serious shortage of needles for glove-making machines, particularly those of the self-threading type; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy the situation.
§ Mr. G. R. StraussMy information is that there is no general shortage of these needles. There may possibly be temporary local shortages owing to distribution difficulties, and I am looking into the 23W case of which the hon. Member has let me have details and will write to him as soon as possible.
