§ Mr. Haydn Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether in view of the fact that Mr. Dean and Mr. Pickles were mentioned by name in the original charges of Left-wing bias, the men concerned as well as the B.B.C. have been informed of the result of his investigation.
Mr. McNeilQuestions relating to the staff of the B.B.C. are a matter for the Corporation; but the Director General assures me that he is satisfied that the charges of Left-wing bias in their work against the individuals in question are unjustified and that they are aware that this is his view.
