§ 102. Wing-Commander Hulbertasked the Minister of Pensions whether a war widow who is in receipt of a pension, 324W emigrating to the Dominions, will continue to receive her pension; and whether it will be paid in the currency of the Dominion concerned.
§ Mr. BuchananA war widow emigrating to a Dominion will normally continue to receive her pension: but if the place of emigration is Canada or Newfoundland, which are outside the sterling area, payment is subject to the Exchange Control Regulations. Payment is usually made in the local currency equivalent of the sterling award.
