§ Mr. G. BrownThese purposes are achieved not by direct contact between the two Ministries but through the medium of the Commonwealth Agricultural Bureaux organisation. This organisation consists of eleven bureaux and two institutes and is jointly financed and governed by the several countries of the Commonwealth and Empire through a representative Council. Eire and this country are represented, also, on the Standing Committee of the British Commonwealth Scientific Official Conference which provides another means of consultation and exchange of information on scientific matters.
