Sandersonasked the Minister of Food if he will make a statement on the decision to issue licences for the export of tinned ox-tongues, sausages and meat rolls; and, in view of the alarm among the housewives at home due to the shortage of all varieties of meat, will he reconsider the decision.
§ Mr. StracheyThe only licences issued so far this year for the export of articles containing manufactured meat are to five firms for the export of samples representing a total quantity of less than one ton.
