Mr. Platts-Millsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will facilitate the publication of German official documents captured by British-American Forces concerning relations between Hitler Germany and the Governments of Britain, France and the United States immediately before and during the war.
§ Mr. BevinAs announced in this House on 22nd January, 1947, there has been a body of expert Anglo-American historians engaged on the preparation for publication of the captured official German documents. In July, 1947, the project became tripartite by the accession of the French Government. It is expected that the first two volumes, which cover the period from the beginning of 1937, or a little earlier, to the outbreak of war in 1939, will appear before the end of this year.
