§ Mr. Hollisasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that ex-Service men are only allowed to receive gifts of clothing from Canadian ex-Service men in return for the surrender of coupons; and why this is so, in view of the fact that coupons do not have to be surrendered in return for gifts of food.

Member for Chippenham (Mr. Eccles). As regards the second part of the Question, food and clothing present different problems and the same considerations do not necessarily apply.
