§ 12. Mr. J. Morrisonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many counties there are in Scotland where the local authorities dairy by-laws do not at present make provision for the recognition of the cattle courts and milking parlours system for the purpose of milk production.
§ Mr. WoodburnThe only counties which make this provision are the counties of Aberdeen, Berwick, East Lothian, Fife, and Kincardine. My Department is at present preparing a new model set of dairy by-laws in which this point will be covered.
