§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe total hay crop harvested in Great Britain in 1947 is estimated to have been approximately 250,000 tons greater than in 1946. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Food and I see no reason to think that there are not adequate supplies of hay in the country to meet farmers' requirements during the remainder of the winter, but we are keeping the position under close review.
