§ Mr. BarnesThe value of the main assets now vested in the Commission has been satisfied by the issue of approximately £1,046 million of British Transport stock. Further British Transport stock of much smaller amount has yet to be issued in satisfaction of some part of the compensation for assets which have already been acquired but the amounts of which have not yet been determined. It is not yet possible, therefore, to place a value on the total assets already vested in the Commission.
