§ 108. Squadron-Leader Flemingasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether there has been any increase in the facilities for cleaning and screening coal in the Lancashire collieries during the last twelve months.
§ Mr. GaitskellI am informed by the National Coal Board that one dry cleaning plant was installed at a Lancashire colliery during the year. Arrangements were also made at a number of collieries to clean mechanically sizes of coal previously hand picked.
