§ Mr. KeyIt is estimated that some 2,300 building and civil engineering operatives, aged 16 and over, were employed in Grimsby in July, 1947, and 2,150 in December, 1947. No information is available as to the number of men in Grimsby who have left the building and civil engineering industries for other work or who have taken up building and civil engineering work outside Grimsby.
