HC Deb 10 February 1948 vol 447 cc50-1W
Mr. Skeffington-Lodge

asked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the hardship inflicted on those P.O.W.'s who have volunteered to stay in this country and are not being allowed to do this, he will consider making arrangements to enable them to take up work in undermanned industries such as textiles and coal mining.

Mr. Isaacs

I have nothing to add to the reply given to the hon. Member's previous Question on 30th October.
