HC Deb 10 February 1948 vol 447 c29W
Colonel Gomme-Duncan

asked the Secretary of State for War why service and other fuses are being collected from ammunition dumps in England for dispatch to Scotland; and if he will give an assurance that no further consignment of fuses or ammunition will be sent to Scotland.

Mr. Shinwell

The only fuses consigned to Scotland are for immediate disposal by deep sea dumping. This will cease after the end of March.
