§ Mr. T. WilliamsTotal egg production in Great Britain is estimated at 187,000 tons in the farm year 1945–46 and 190,000 tons in 1946–47. These figures include hatching eggs and domestic and other noncommercial egg production, and are given in terms of weight in shell. Deliveries of hen eggs to packing stations, which are known more exactly, were 76,000 tons and 73,000 tons, respectively.
