§ 109. Mr. Sparksasked the Minister of Transport the number of diesel electric locomotives engaged as at 31st December, 1947, in traffic operations on each of the former systems of the L.M.S., L.N.E.R., G.W.R. and S.R., and the number of such locomotives then under construction.
§ Mr. BarnesThe numbers in traffic at 31st December, 1947, were:—45 on L.M.S., 1 on G.W.R., and 3 on S.R. The numbers then under construction were:—3, 6 and 11 respectively.
