§ 94. Mr. J. Lewisasked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the general policy of the British Broadcasting Corporation is being to some extent determined by the actions of non-statutory bodies such as the British Boxing Board of Control; and what steps he is taking in regard to such organisations.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingI am aware that the agreement of some organisations is not always forthcoming to proposals for broadcasts by sound or television. In my view this type of question falls within the day-to-day management of the B.B.C. and I see no reason to intervene.
