asked the Minister of Food what charge he is making for the non-returnable bags in which imported carrots are sold; and what is the profit margin allowed to the wholesalers on the sale of imported carrots and of homegrown carrots, respectively.

The charge for bags is at the rate of 10s. per ton of carrots. The margin allowed to town wholesalers on imported and home-grown carrots sold by my Department is 17s. 6d. per ton in each case.
