Mr. J. P. L. Thomasasked the Postmaster-General whether in view of the long delay in establishing a telephone exchange in the village of Longtown, Herefordshire, he will treat the matter as one of urgency owing to the isolated nature of the parish.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingArrangements are in hand to provide a new exchange at Longtown, but there is, unfortunately, delay in acquiring a site. The community is at present served by a public kiosk outside the Post Office.
