§ 107. Mr. Cooperasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will now reply to the letters, dated 13th July and 7th October, from the hon. Member for West Middlesbrough, in which proposals were made for assisting industry to manufacture in this country those goods which at present are being obtained from hard currency areas.
§ Mr. H. WilsonI much regret that there has been a long delay in answering the hon. Member's letters on this subject. The proposals they contained involved close consultation with other Departments concerned. A reply will be sent within the next few days.
