§ 66. Major Beamishasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has studied the report of the Acting Mediator on the shooting down of a civilian aircraft over Palestine and Transjordan on 23rd September, 1948; and if he will now say what further action is contemplated by His Majesty's Government in this connection.
§ Mr. BevinThe Acting Mediator's report has been closely studied by the Foreign Office, who are in consultation 147W with the dependants of the deceased, with a view to the presentation of a claim for compensation.
