HC Deb 14 December 1948 vol 459 cc113-4W
Mr. Erroll

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury to what extent His Majesty's Stationery Office is supplying the stationery requirements of the nationalised undertakings, either free or on repayment.

Mr. Glenvil Hall

The nationalised undertakings have been supplied on repayment terms by the Stationery Office pending the making of their own purchasing arrangements or in some special difficulties. This is a temporary and dying service to them. The total value to date is £92,000 for the National Coal Board, £11,500 for the British Electricity Authority, and £1,100 for the British Transport Commission.
