asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury (1) the number of temporary clerks at present employed in the general and departmental grades of the Civil Service, their departmental allocation, and the number who have had three years' service or more;

(2) the number of temporary officers at present employed in the general and departmental executive grades of the Civil Service; their departmental allocation; and the number who have had three years' service or more.
