§ 50. Colonel Ropnerasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that landowners desirous of carrying out afforestation or re-afforestation schemes are not yet able to ascertain from nurserymen what plants will be available this season because the Forestry Commission has not yet made an allotment to the nursery trade; and whether, in view of this delay, he will take steps which will ensure that the nursery trade is told, as soon as possible, the number of young trees with which they will be supplied.
