§ 36. Mr. Skeffingtonasked the Minister of Transport why, in view of the subsidy to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, their charge for the hire of road safety exhibitions has been higher than would be made by commercial firms.
§ Mr. BarnesThe charges made by the Society for the services they render in respect of exhibitions are designed to cover their actual costs. As no profit is included I see no reason to suppose that the charges would be lower if the work were undertaken by commercial firms.
