§ 79. Mr. Awberyasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is now in a position to give the date when the general payment of agreed claims of the Business Scheme under the War Damage Act, 1943, Part II, will be made.
§ Mr. BottomleyI regret that it is not yet possible to announce the date of the general payment of claims under the Business Scheme, but it is open to claimants to apply for early payment on the ground that the replacement or repair of the goods is expedient in the public interest or to avoid undue hardship and such applications are sympathetically dealt with.
