§ Mr. Ness EdwardsThe number of registered disabled persons classified as requiring sheltered employment by local offices of the Ministry in the West Riding of Yorkshire at 18th October, 1948, was 844. The corresponding figure at 20th October, 1947, was 848. It is hoped that 600 places in Remploy factories in this area will be provided during 1949 in addition to about 150 places still available in factories already opened.
