§ Mr. Warbeyasked the Secretary of State for Air for what reasons permission has been granted to the U.S. Air Force to make use of seven R.A.F. bases in Great Britain; to base 60 Super-Fortresses in this country; and to bring 5,700 officers and men of the U.S.A.F. to this country.
§ Mr. A. HendersonI would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave on 28th July. Additional facilities have been placed at the disposal of the U.S.A.F. since that date because of the requirements of the Berlin air lift.
