§ 73. Mr. Leonardasked the Postmaster-General if he is aware of the great increase in mountaineering in Great Britain; and if he will review the telephone service available in such districts in order to give general service and especially for the summoning of help in cases of accident.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingThe value of telephone service to isolated rural communities, including those in mountaineering districts,48W is fully recognised and the Post Office is extending the service to them as rapidly as possible, within the limits of its resources.
