§ Mr. MayhewThe High Commissioner for Palestine will leave Palestine on the termination of the Mandate. The General Officer Commanding, Palestine, will remain in operational command, under the Commander-in-Chief, Middle East Land Forces, during the final withdrawal of our troops.
