§ 5. Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of National Insurance if, in view of the special circumstances of which he has been notified, he will agree to the granting to Mrs. Vale of her widow's pension from 25th March to 15th July, 1947.
§ Mr. SteeleAs I have already informed the hon. Member, my right hon. Friend is precluded from paying Mrs. Vale's pension for this period by a specific provision of the Contributory Pensions Act.
