§ 41. Mr. Byersasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware that, owing to the regulation issued by his Department on 18th February, a dangerous gas stove in Gillingham, Dorset, details of which case have been given to him, cannot be replaced, and if he will now take steps to bring to an end the continuing delay in obtaining a decision on this matter.
§ Mr. RobensThe hon. Member is no doubt referring to some general advice which was issued in February to supply158W undertakings by the Electricity Commissioners in regard to the provision of new non-industrial services and apparatus, in order to secure that for the time being only essential needs are met. I think there may have been some misunderstanding in this particular case, and my right hon. Friend is making further inquiries. We will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as possible.
