HC Deb 21 April 1948 vol 449 c141W
44. Commander Maitland

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty what steps he is taking to improve the cooking facilities in the Royal Naval Hospitals at Portsmouth, Chatham and Devonport.

Mr. W. Edwards

Additional cooking equipment is being provided at Chatham and Portsmouth, and the position at Plymouth is under consideration. Arrangements for distributing food to the wards in all three hospitals are being improved by the provision of electrically heated food conveyors.

54. Commander Maitland

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether trained dieticians are included in the staffs of the Royal Naval Hospitals at Portsmouth, Chatham and Plymouth.

Mr. W. Edwards
