Mr. Spenceasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give an assurance that the export of tops and woollen or worsted yarns will not be allowed to take priority over or interfere with the fullest possible production in this country for export of the finished product in cloth, clothing or textile articles.
§ Mr. BottomleyThe hon. Member may be assured that the needs of the weaving and knitting industries for export production have and will continue to have first consideration in the allocation of yarn output.
