asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he can give any information about the allocation and delivery of witherite in the current period.

Mr. Belcher

There is no statutory control of witherite, although the two producers of this material normally consult the Board of Trade about the distribution of their output. Deliveries of witherite to consumers will probably be less in the current quarter than in recent months, but output is being maintained and the opportunity taken to build up stocks.
