HC Deb 28 October 1947 vol 443 c39W
33. Mr. Osborne

asked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware of the local objection to the field firing range near Nettleton, North Lincolnshire; and if he will reconsider the decision to convert it into a permanent one, especially in view of the protests of the parish council and the Caistor R.D.C.

Mr. Shinwell

I am aware of the local objection to the field firing range near Nettleton, and will give the matter further consideration. I do not, however, expect to be able to give a final decision until the whole question of the land required by my Department for training purposes has been settled.
