asked the Minister of Supply whether he has considered the use of scrap metal from many of the obsolete bombs at present dumped into the sea by the Service Departments; and what steps are taken to utilise this metal.

Yes. Bombs declared to the Ministry of Supply as surplus are broken down, whenever possible, to recover scrap metals. Only those which it would be unsafe to break down are dumped in the sea.
