Mr. Baker Whiteasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he is aware that twelve aircraft are employed at the present time in transporting mandarines, tangerines and clementines from Spain, to be sold at prices of about 1,000 per cent. above their cost abroad; and whether these planes are re-fuelled at British airports.
§ Mr. GaitskellI have no information on this matter, but charter aircraft registered in the United Kingdom are granted an allowance of aviation spirit for business purposes and they are, of course, entitled to undertake any legitimate air transport operation.
