asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is satisfied that the Foreign Office staff employed in Morocco are given sufficient pay and allowances to enable them to purchase sufficient food to enable them to work efficiently.

Mr. Mayhew

A Foreign Service inspector is at present in Morocco examining the question of pay and allowances of Foreign Office staff and it is expected that his recommendations will shortly be received.
