§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe main shortages are of certain types of steel, tyres and some finished parts involving malleable castings. I am not aware that the delivery period is two years but it is true that deliveries are slow. My Department is in close touch with the suppliers and with the Ministry of Supply in an effort to bring forward materials so that production is not held up.
